School ;A;

Ahh, that early morning update. So tired...

So! You all know that I'm a senior in high school, right? Okay, maybe you didn't know... xD;

Anyway, my exams are in 2 1/2 weeks, and I have to take ALL of them! I'm freaking out!!
My grade in Government is definitely not what I'd like it to be, so I'm going to have to study my butt off to get the grade I want. I'm afraid I'll end up with a C...

Also, to make matters worse, I'm missing school quite a bit now. I don't have my own car, so if I miss the bus (which is often... I tend to oversleep) I have to rely on others. Let's just say they're a little more than unreliable...
It means I get to sleep more, but HOLY CRAP I AM MISSING GOVERNMENT CLASS. Right now: GPA > sleep; so all these unreliable people have really been ticking me off lately.

Then, next semester I take Econ and I seriously suck at anything in the "Social Studies" area of schooling. Maybe I should get a tutor this time (I should have for Government... but -stupidly!- I didn't take the initiative to do so). I have to pass both Goverment and Econ to graduate, so... I'm a little worried.

Anyone really good at Economic stuff and wanna be my online helper/tutor for next semester? Please?

PS: I've decided that I'll have a giveaway once I reach 25 followers (already halfway there!), so please spread the word about my blog!

My first brand dress!

Woopee! I received my first "brand" dress in the mail today!
It's not from my favourite brand, but oh well! Baby, the Stars Shine Bright makes beautiful clothes just as Innocent World does.
I bought it second-hand off of egl_comm_sales for quite a nice price. (;

The print is called Antoinette Goblin; I guess it came out of a luckypack from earlier this year?

The jsk has corset lacing AND waist-ties! The waist-ties are thin which I have never seen before, but they're also detachable. Maybe all detachable waist-ties are thin?
The colour-way I purchased is a little hard to desribe... it looks like a mix of bordeaux and brown. It's absolutely beautiful none the less!

What a beauty! The bouquets of the print are stunning!

The laces used on the dress are elegant and absolutely lovely!

Rose shaped lace on the bodice

The lace used on the hem is also floral! ♥

If you've gotten your first brand dress -- what was it? Did you feel as overwhelmed and overjoyed as I do when you received it? Were you jumping for joy?!

{Review} Bb South - Surf Spray

(my first review -- yay!)

With the help of Surf Spray, rekindle summer with that sexy, wild, wind-styled texture you get after an ocean swim.
Amount: 4 oz.
Price: $23

Use on damp or dry hair; let it dry naturally or blow-dry with a diffuser attachment (the wind works nicely too!). The less you touch your hair, the longer it will hold.
Styling Tip: After applying the spray, twist the hair with your fingers -- it helps form the waves better!

Water, Magnesium Sulfate, Macrocystis Pyrifera (Kelp) Extract, Ascophyllum Nodosum Exstract, Isoseteth-20, Citric Acid, PPG-5-Ceteth-20, Phenoxyethanol, Potassium Sorbate, Citronellol, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Hydroxisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde, Linalool, Limonene, Hexyl Cinnamal, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Fragrance (Parfum)

I really love this spray -- it truly works! My salon-girl used the diffuser method and the waves held nicely in my hair for over 12 hours! Also, this spray didn't make my hair feel rough or crunchy like other sprays I've used.
It works for short or long hair since how much waves/curliness depends on you! (:

Effectiveness ★★★★★
Cost ★★★★ {Sorta pricey for such a small amount... or I'm just cheap xD}
Easy to Use? ★★★★★
Appearance ★★★★★

New Hair! ♥

Kinda pixely (weird...), but who cares? It's all about the hair! ♥

Earlier this morning I went to get my hair done at the lovely Salon Red
Atlanta location. I honestly had no clue what I wanted done with my hair, but the beautiful salon-girl Ashley helped me so much!

She knew exactly what to do (my hair was pretty much two hair cuts in one... not cute).
She blended the layers together by cutting my hair with a razor, and also shaped my bangs into an adorable crescent shape.

But she wasn't done there! She showed me an amazing product called Surf Spray. It gives your hair a natural sexy wave like how your hair looks after you've been in the ocean! She sprayed it on and then defused my hair (I never had this done before, so I was pretty confused xD).

My hair turned out looking gorgeous with a cute waviness!
I made sure to buy the product too; I just love it! (I'll be sure to do a review on it soon, and also a tutorial for wavy hair using the spray/defusing method.)

My Makeup: Before and After

Since my break just started, I'm going to have a lot of time on my hands (which means this baby will get updated often :D), so here we go!

I wear makeup everyday, consisting of: concealer, eyebrow pencil(I think that's what it's called?) eyeshadow/liner, lip tint, blush, mascara, and false lashes.

I'm a little ashamed to show this but...

Me without makeup... oh the horror!

Let's just ignore that picture now...
Right after getting up and washing/moisturizing my face, I get all gussied up.

Here's how I look with all my makeup~ not gorgeous, but much better right?
I'm still not very good at make the adorable droopy-eyes...
Does anyone have any tips/tutorials on how to do it?

Also, I usually do not wear circle lenses since my eyes dry out super quickly.
I wanted to show the comparison though, so I'm wearing a lens in one eye.

Can you tell the difference?

The lenses I own are Barbie King Size in brown; my eyes are already brown/hazel, so there is only a subtle difference. I'd love to get coloured ones like purple or pink, though!

If you have any tips on how I can make my makeup better, or where to get bottom lashes/coloured circle lenses for prices that aren't crazy expensive, please let me know!

It looks absolutely stunning with flashy gold boots! ღ

R.I.P Rascal Artemis

My dad and I found Rascal when he was a kitten; my dad had just brought we home from my friends' 10th birthday party (I was 9 at the time). We heard soft 'mew'ing noises and went to investigate. We found a tiny, scared kitten, but when we tried to get him, he ran away. We set some water out for him along with a little cat-food we borrowed from out neighbour. The little kitten came later and ate the food, and he ended up warming up to us.

At first we thought he was a girl, so we called him names like 'Sugar' and 'Princess'... but he was actually a boy! We felt silly for calling him girly names like, so instead we started calling him Rascal -- the Artemis part was later added by me. We got him all "fixed up" (poor thing), but once he recovered he was really playful!

As the years went by, he mellowed out; he only ever hissed if you frightened him. He also ate all the time, so he was a chubster! He'd play when he was in the mood, and sleep if he wasn't. When he was outside, we'd always end up getting "presents" at our doorstep. Even if my dad threw them into the woods, Rascal would bring it back...

Then this morning, 8 years later, my mom found him in the road. He had been run over by some stupid driver. Rascal always wandered around and crossed the street during the night, and had never gotten hit a single time. I guess this time the person in that car just didn't care ,or they thought he was a raccoon/opossum and sped up on purpose. Some of the people around here are just idiots who run over animals for fun so I wouldn't be surprised if that's what happened. Dumb*asses.

It'll be okay though since Rascal is in a better place now -- or so I believe. He's with God in Heaven and I know he wouldn't want me being sad, but I dearly miss him. He will always be remembered...
