New layout~

Ta daaaa! A new beautiful layout based off of AP's Dream Sky print. It's my most recent dream print (hehe), so it felt appropriate to me. I'm trying so hard to get it (stalking auctions >w<). Also, the lovely banner was made by Laffi. She actually drew the Dream Sky print rather than using an image of it!

Anyone else ever think of making a layout based off their dream print(s)?

Angelic Pretty addict?!

Lately, I've been trying to gather items to finally finish up some lolita coordinates. I always buy the dress or skirt first and build on that (makes the most sense to me) Since I don't have many dresses/skirts though, it should be fairly easy, but I am sooo picky! I hate to say that I'm a brand whore (because I'm truly not), but I honestly prefer brand over any other. And not just any brand -- it's usually got to be Angelic Pretty!

The last of the AP bags I bought a while ago finally arrived~; I got the pink one and the black one off of mbok, and I purchased the sax one from egl_comm_sales. I didn't realize the pink one would be so large, but I'm actually happy about it's size! Plus it doesn't have much flaws besides the lace yellowing a little! The black one is monstrous though... and when I have all my items in it -- so heavy! I bought the sax one purely to match my Tiara Rose skirt, but it doesn't look too well with it. I may end up reselling or trading the bag for a different one.

It's a little embarrassing, but more than half of my lolita wardrobe is Angelic Pretty. I don't have much items, but seeing that most of them are AP (and I prefer AP over all others)... I think I may have a problem! Maybe I'll start buying more indie brands/offbrand, or order more from DreamV (I actually have an order coming in ) to match with lolita. I hope I'm not the only one with such a problem! xD;

SunO party!

Thursday was the SunO party at the Duluth SunO! Loud music, free SunO and drinks, and b-boys performing!

Laffi's outfit rundown:
♥ Mini cardigan ~ offbrand
Skirt ~ Bodyline
Tights ~ Leg Avenue
Socks ~ offbrand
Accessories ~ Bodyline, Bonjour Honey, Mintymix, Handmade, Offbrand
Bag ~ Sanrio
Shoes ~ Secret Shop

#001 Rosey Posey - rundown:
♥ Top ~ Jesus Diamante
Jsk ~ Angelic Pretty
♥ Socks ~ Angelic Pretty
Accessories ~ Handmade, Offbrand
Bag ~ Angelic Pretty
Shoes ~ Offbrand

I originally planned to meet up with Laffi that day just to eat pho, but I remembered the SunO party was that night as well! So Laffi and I derped around as usual and got some cute items from the Morning Glory store. (She even got keyboard stickers! )

Then we went to eat pho, and I had yummy Avocado shakes. I was so surprised that it was actually good! I mean, I like avocado, but I never though a avocado shake would be so delicious! Once we had finished eating, it was time for the SunO party! We got over there and apparently you had to wait in a line for a wristband then wait in line to get the free suno and drinks. We ended up trying the Kumquat Green Tea, Honeydew Suno, and Thai Tea Suno. They were all so yummy -- especially the honeydew suno!

We unknowingly met Coffee, and he's a real cool guy (and great b-boy!). Also, Kyla (a fellow ATL lolita) and Laffi's friends showed up, so we hung out with them and chatted at the H-Mart. I was so sad when I had to leave, but I seriously had soooo much fun! I want to spend some more fun times with them all. I hope I can do so soon!

Thrifting~ ★

Saturday was Father's Day and since my dad likes thrifting as much as I do, I took him to do so!

I have tiiiiny tiny feet (US 5.5-6), so finding shoes in my size is normally pretty hard, but at the thrift store, it's what I mainly find!

I got 2 pairs of heels for myself and a carebear for a friend. I also bought my dad a few vinyls since he collects them.

I'm so glad I found such a gorgeous pair of cream heels! They will work amazingly with hime or just typical classy looks. My boyfriend said they look like shoes a princess in England would wear. Perfect! The white heels were purely an impulse buy. I actually didn't own any white heels before I bought them!!
Carebears aren't really my thing, but thinking the cutie would make a nice gift, I ended up getting it anyway! I know the receiver will really like it!

Anyone else thrift regularly? I'd love to see other people's thrifting hauls!

Sun shine on me ☀

Sorry about my last post; I've been in a real crap mood this month.

It seems like things with my boyfriend are just going all wrong. We don't spend as much time together, and it seems like he doesn't have much interest in me anymore. Lately, he's always too into his hobbies or spending time with his own friends. It makes me feel hurt and loney, but I'm trying to cheer up by spending time with friends. Laffi of Millions of Bows has truly been helping me out to get my mind on other things; she's so sweet and fun.

My weight has been going down though which is good. I've lost 7 lbs in the last two weeks and I'm only 6 lbs away from my goal, so I suppose I should be happy. I guess I'm the type where I'm not truly happy until I reach my goal. I can't wait any longer to be tiny again!

Ive been finishing up my crafts as well in order to be distracted. My Spring Recital bunnies are now cellphone charms , and I have tons of deco stuff coming in to spruce them up even more. I plan to really get into decoden (hime deco, of course!); hopefully I can do well! ★彡

My "secret" rose hairclips are finished too! They turned out lovely in my opinion, and of course I didn't limit them to one design. They're available at my Etsy shop~. Also, I'm selling a pink AP jsk + blouse set here.

I'm trying to learn that there is always sunshine after the rain, and that the sun comes up again each day. I honestly hope I can cheer up real soon, and become a positive thinker. And of course, Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there in the world!

{Review} Lioele - 3D Skin Fix Makeup Base & Foundation

as always; click for larger! ♥

Long time no post, lovlies~! There's a new thing taking over my life now. It used to be school, but now it's work! Lately, I work pretty much everyday of the week... so blogging and crafting sort of went out the window.
Today is different, though! I still have to work, but took the time to make this review for 2 of Lioele's amazing products -- 3D Skin Fix Makeup Base & 3D Skin Fix Foundation. (both bought from Pretty & Cute)

No makeup what-so-ever... no eyebrows... AHHHH, so hideous!

With Makeup Base only -- no more super shiny skin!

The Makeup Base comes in a little pump-type bottle, so just pump a little onto your fingers, dab where you want it, then blend in~. A little goes a long way! It does really well to cover strawberry nose, rosy cheeks, and eye bags.

Then the foundation (in Natural Beige)! I always use a foundation a skin tone or two darker.
It makes my skin look like it has a healthy glow, plus it's hard to find foundation of how light I am anyway. xD;

The Foundation also comes in a pump-type bottle, but I've found it easier to apply with a brush than my fingers. A blush or kabuki (foundation) brush work perfectly to apply and blend it.
It only takes 2 half pumps to evenly cover my entire face, including under the chin!

Topped off with Lioele Blooming Face Powder (beige) + Diamond Lashes! ♥
My favourite thing about this photo is that it actually has no editing! The makeup covers all my blemishes!

Cost ★★★★★ - Got them together for $40 instead of the usual $24/26 each!
Appearance ★★★★★ - Lovely packaging~
Easy to apply? ★★★★★ - Comes in a little pump bottle
Coverage ★★★★★ - Hides all my blemishes, and stays on all day. Perfect!

The makeup stays on all day, so re-application isn't necessary. I've found my new foundation!(unless something better comes along... which I doubt xD).
I'll most likely do a review of the Blooming Face Powder as well, so look out for it!
